Bathing safety and lifeguards
The whole family can swim safely at the Lalandia Aquadome™, although your visit is at your own risk – safety is always top of the agenda! Lalandia’s safety rules fulfil – and further build on – the guidelines issued by the Danish Council for Greater Water Safety in cooperation with the Danish Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Social Welfare and Politimesterforeningen (the Association of Danish Police Constables).
At the Lalandia Aquadome, there are always at least three professional lifeguards on duty to keep an eye on the happy bathing guests. All lifeguards receive continuous training in the subject. Each year, they must pass the professional lifeguard exam. In addition, they receive weekly training in resuscitation, first-aid, etc. Thus, the lifeguards meet all the current requirements so they are able to offer rapid, skilled and well-qualified rescue efforts in emergencies.
In addition to a minimum of one lifeguard per pool, many of the other personnel at the Lalandia Aquadome have also taken the lifeguard exam. They, of course, also keep a watchful eye from their posts, from where they have a good view of the waterpark.
In addition to these safety measures, the individual efforts of bathing guests can also make a huge difference. The few accidents that occur in the waterpark are, as a rule, a result of the bathing rules not being followed. So remember to read through the rules at the entrance to the Lalandia Aquadome or view them
